Effect of Natuzyme supplementation in ileal threonine diets

NATUZYME USA TRIAL DATA WITH BROILERS

TITLE
Evaluation of the Addition of Natuzyme to Diets with Decreasing Levels of Energy and Phosphorus When Fed to Commercial Male Broilers
STUDY DIRECTOR
Greg F. Mathis, Ph.D., President, Southern Poultry Research, Inc.

STUDY OBJECTIVES
To evaluate the addition of Natuzyme at the recommended level of 350 g/mt on the body weight gain, feed conversion, and mortality of male broilers fed commercial corn/ soybean meal/ wheat type diets with decreasing levels of metabolizable energy (ME) and phosphorus from 0 to 42 days of age. The control diets were formulated to have 3080 ME, Kcal/kg and 0.45 % available phosphorus while treatment diets decreased in ME from 3080 to 2880 kcal/kg by ~ 2% increments and phosphorous from 0.45 to 0.30 by 12% increments. A summary of data collected is presented below.
